How to apply digital technology to make high school physics more enjoyable?
I enjoyed learning when I was a K12 student. My favorite subject was physics, but I found that other classmates, especially girls, disliked physics very much. I don't know why, but I think the way of teaching physics definitely played an important part in determining students' tastes. At that time, I also didn't like the way my physics teacher taught physics. I was a physics teacher before I came to America and used almost the same method as I was taught to teach physics.
Since I came to America, my view of teaching has been changed. Gradually, I developed my own teaching philosophy based on my learning. Students must enjoy what they are learning, otherwise the learning is meaningless to them. Students should clearly see the reason why they should learn this or that. Some students can be motivated by an exam. Others need to enjoy the process of learning. If the process can't motivate them, they are not going to persist to learn.
